About

The NYU Cycling club is a co-ed club that will host both recreational riders as well a competitive travel team of 8 to 15 riders.

NYU competes in the Eastern Collegiate Cycling Conference (ECCC), where the road racing season comprises the cool spring months of March and April. The ECCC race schedule has events all over the east coast, with races at Yale and Dartmouth, to Rutgers and Philadelphia, to even our back yard - the fabled Grant's Tomb criterium hosted by Columbia University.

The Cycling club will have 2 to 3 workouts each week, with one being a weekend ride across the George Washington Bridge to such popular New York cycling destinations as Piermont , Nyack , Rockland Lake, and Palisades Interstate Park. The other workouts will either be in Central Park (if the weather permits) or inside at the Palladium.

While the club is focused on NYU students, NYU alumni are welcome to join us on the Weekend rides or in Central Park.

We have Mikael Hanson as our coach since Fall 2011, he can be reached at moc.loa|stropsecnahne#moc.loa|stropsecnahne
